Buying images

Welcome to Peterson Galleries.  We're glad you're here and hope you're enjoying the visit.  But what about the images, are they for sale and how much?

Yes most of the images are for sale, though there are some exceptions.

My goal is to get my art into your life; that's where my bliss resides in offering prints.

All the distinctions will be easily accessible as the work goes forward on the  galleries, but for now please-please ask.   ~ASK~  We know it's an inconvenience, but we hope you'll not let that spoil the chance for one of the images to come live with you.  It was a choice between holding back the site opening until all was complete or DigitalArt-Thumb.jpgnot, so we chose to open during construction.

PRINTS ~ Limited Edition:  Images in the *Skipjack Sunday gallery, the Digital Art gallery, Allure and Waterfront are available in several Digital Art from Petersongallery.comforms of print.  Most are offered as  fine art, limited edition, signed and numbered prints.  Price varies with size, issue number and type of media.  Only the best printing media is offered, printed in our west coast fine art specialty lab, tuned specifically to the needs of gallery and museum images.

Fuji Crystal Archival papers are the choice for glossy, matte, pearl and super gloss printing.  Museum quality canvas and canvas wraps are offered as well as appropriate images on surfaces like Museo Silver Rag or Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 and other artists papers.  We'll gladly offer our opinion for surface on every image you may be interested in.  There's even a special choice of canvas wrap we've found for a client, that's waterproof yet still archival; she wanted to display on a covered  patio/porch area.  All prints are of archival quality--100 years and beyond.

*The Skipjack Sunday Gallery, has a complete and separate gallery of its own at www.skipjacksunday.com, complete with prices and order pages.

canvas wrap thumb.jpgPRINTS ~ Open Edition: In an effort to make images as accessible as possible price wise, a good deal of the gallery images are allocated as "open edition".  Unlimited numbers of the image may be printed; additionally a limited number of signed copies of that same image may be offered at premium over the standard issue print for those that desire them.   Hopefully this provides a middle ground for the collector between our open and limited edition works. For me, images are each valued separately influenced by style, uniqueness and physical factors of size and treatment--even the difficulty or perfection of execution come into play.   But the goal is constant, I truly do take joy in your including my work in your life.
